Child of the King

In order for us to understand our true identity, we must start in Genesis where we discover that Adam was created in the image of God. He was the first son of God, created for the Father’s good pleasure. In Genesis the Bible tells us that God the Father would fellowship with His son, un-fallen Adam, in the cool of the day.

Hope in His Unfailing Love

We put our hope in a lot of things.  We hope our car will start each morning.  We hope our jobs are secure.  We hope our children make wise choices.  We hope our marriages don’t fail.  It is natural for our hearts to hope–but more often than not, we put our hope in wrong places.  We place our hope in things or people that can and often do fail.  Even knowing this, we continue to hope in that which can disappoint.
