Men often carry unspoken pain, destructive patterns, or relational wounds that affect their marriages, families, and emotional health.
MenSkills offers a safe, biblically grounded, clinically informed space for men to explore healing and grow into who God created them to be. Participants gain tools to disrupt generational cycles and respond to conflict with truth-based clarity, strength, and grace.
MenSkills uses the Restoration Therapy framework, tailored specifically to the male experience. It upholds The Relationship Resource’s values of truth, healing, and biblical restoration, while giving men their own space to process and grow.
Partner Churches and Facilitators set their own pricing for workshops and costs vary by location.

MenSkills
The Journey of Transformation
This is a 12 to 15 week comprehensive and Christ-centered workshop to encourage individuals to journey through understanding their identity in Jesus Christ. We explore God's Truth, unpack our view of ourselves, and learn how to renew our mind in order to become a more whole person. Some of the topics addressed are family of origin patterns and the process of healing through forgiveness and repair.
Skills Workshops are offered in a group setting with an average of 8-10 participants including a certified TRR Facilitator. Workshops are offered for men and women separately.
MenSkills II
Identity
This 6-8 week workshop will help you create an internal map to navigate out of the destructive thoughts and feelings that have been plaguing you from your early years into a place of inner peace that is birthed out of a knowledge of God's TRUTH.
To register for an Identity Skills Workshop, you must have already completed a MenSkills or WomenSkills workshop. Renewing the Mind Skills Workshops for individuals are offered for men and women separately.

Renewing the Mind
This 6-8 week workshop will unpack the basic needs and desires of every human heart based on God given nutrients that are essential for us to grow. Utilizing the “Iceberg Model”, we will navigate God’s recipe for a healthy foundation for the relationships in our lives. This workshop invites us into a process of growth and encourages character development based on God’s Truth.
To register for a Renewing the Mind Workshop, you must have already completed a MenSkills workshop. Renewing the Mind Workshops are offered for men and women separately.

For men struggling with sexual addiction, shame, trauma, and a lack of trust and forgiveness, The Relationship Resource offers a 3-day intensive led by Jeff Reinke, an expert in marriage, relationships, and overcoming sexual brokeness.
In the Grace Wins workshop, you will practice practical steps to acquire sexual wholeness and gain insight to understand the root causes of unwanted sexual behavior.

How to Become a Facilitator:
You must have completed a WomenSkills or MenSkills class.
You must receive a recommendation from the facilitator of the MenSkills or WomenSkills class you took and fill out an application, found on our Become a Facilitator page.
You must become certified. We offer two levels of in-person LeadershipSkills training to prepare you to Facilitate Skills Workshops. We also offer a level I and II online course.
From there you will co-facilitate a skills workshop, have an interview with a TRR representative, and pass a background check.
Once approved, workshops can be held at a church, your home, online or other location.

Do you have workshops in person and online?
Many Partner Churches and TRR facilitators are now offering workshops online, via Zoom, which is allowing people from all over the world to participate. In-person workshops are currently in San Diego County, CA. When searching for a workshop please look for "in-person" or "online" in the title.
Is there a cost for the workshops?
Yes, registration fees for Skills workshops are set by the Partner Church or TRR Facilitator and will vary depending on the workshop length and host. The workshop fee is not determined or collected by TRR. Most partners require a deposit to hold your space and then offer a payment plan. Many of our partners offer partial scholarships if needed. Contact the partner church that is hosting the workshop directly for their scholarship information.
Can I order a Skills workbook individually without signing up for a Skills workshop?
Our Skills workbooks are designed to be used in a group workshop setting with a certified TRR Facilitator. God uses community to bring healing as we learn from each other and find out that we are not alone in our struggles. Skills workbooks are only sold to Partner Organizations and certified Facilitators.
How do I register for a skills workshop?
Registration for Skills workshops are hosted by either a Partner Church or Certified TRR Facilitator. Go to the Calendar page to learn more about current available workshops and registration. Check back weekly as new workshops are added and fill quickly. Generally new workshops begin after the new year and continue into spring and then begin again late summer until the fall.
How can I train to be a certified TRR facilitator?
